We are seeking a Sr. Developer Enablement Engineer in our Broomfield, CO Location.
About the Role
We are seeking an Advanced/Senior Developer Enablement Engineer to own technical documentation and developer enablement for Quantinuum’s Platform, including Nexus Cloud and hardware. This US-based role combines technical writing, software engineering, physics or mathematics expertise, and hands-on customer support to help users successfully adopt and use Quantinuum’s quantum computing platforms.
You will own Systems and Nexus documentation, release guidance, tested code examples, setup instructions, and troubleshooting content. You will work closely with hardware, software, product, documentation, and customer-facing teams to translate complex capabilities and recurring user issues into accurate, actionable self-service resources.
This role also provides technical support for customer cases as needed to own tickets that require advanced quantum computing and Systems expertise to investigate code, diagnose the issue, and drive resolution of customer-facing problems. This creates a direct feedback loop between developers, customers, product teams, support operations, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
Own, develop, and maintain accurate Systems and Nexus documentation, including conceptual guidance, setup instructions, workflows, API or SDK usage, and troubleshooting content
Create and validate runnable code examples against current product and platform releases
Develop release guidance, technical launch plans, and release-readiness checklists in partnership with product and engineering teams
Maintain documentation for installation, access, configuration, system behavior, and common failure modes
Design and improve information architecture, content organization, and migration workflows so developers can find and use the right information quickly
Use user feedback, support trends, search behavior, and content analytics to identify gaps and continuously improve self-service
Work directly with hardware, software, product, documentation, and support subject-matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and timely updates
Serve as the ticket owner for escalated customer cases that require deep quantum computing and Systems expertise; investigate and reproduce code-level issues, coordinate with support, product, and engineering teams, drive customer-facing resolution, and convert recurring issues into reusable documentation, examples, or tutorials
Support product launches, technical workshops, conferences, and customer events with demos, technical content, and developer guidance
Contribute to documentation standards, review practices, and measurable quality and adoption goals across the documentation portfolio
Perform a monthly competitive intelligence review and synthesize relevant technical and market insights for internal stakeholders
Represent developer needs and recurring friction to internal teams, helping shape product, platform, and documentation priorities
YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree minimum
Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience in technical documentation, developer enablement, software engineering, solutions engineering, developer relations, or a related technical role

WE VALUE:

Direct experience with quantum computing platforms, compilers, emulators, or hardware access workflows
Familiarity with Quantinuum Systems, Nexus, or related developer tooling
Experience with continuous integration, automated example testing, or documentation quality tooling
Contributions to open-source technical projects or developer communities
Experience producing competitive intelligence or synthesizing technical developments for internal audiences
Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining technical documentation for complex software, hardware, cloud, or developer platforms
Strong software engineering skills, including hands-on proficiency with Python and the ability to build, test, and troubleshoot code examples
Ability to understand complex technical systems and explain them clearly to developer and research audiences
Experience collaborating with engineering and product subject-matter experts through releases and documentation reviews
Experience with developer relations, developer education, solutions engineering, or another customer-facing technical discipline
Knowledge of quantum computing concepts, quantum software workflows, or quantum hardware systems
Experience documenting APIs, SDKs, command-line tools, cloud services, or integrated hardware-software systems
Experience with documentation-as-code practices, version control, issue tracking, and technical review workflows
Ability to test releases, reproduce issues, diagnose technical problems, and turn findings into clear guidance
Experience creating tutorials, sample applications, migration guides, release notes, and troubleshooting resources
Experience using documentation analytics, search data, user feedback, or support trends to prioritize improvements
Strong cross-functional communication and project management skills, with the ability to drive content to completion across distributed teams
